Watch & Listen: Frank Ocean Releases Visual Album "Endless"
It isn’t Boys Don’t Cry, but at least it’s something. Just before midnight Thursday, Apple Music dropped a “visual album” by Frank Ocean called Endless. Both the 45-minute video and the accompanying music are tranquilizing and smooth — perhaps a hint of what we can expect on Ocean’s long-awaited sophomore project, "Boy's Don't Cry".
He last released an album, “Channel Orange,” in 2012.
As you all know, the new album was supposed to be released on August 5, but that day came and went, and fans of the musician, many of whom are used to waiting long periods for new work, had no choice but to wait some more.
The video which can be streamed on Apple Music is apparently the precursor to more new music that is expected to drop this weekend according to Apple. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that it's "Boy's Don't Cry" and Frank actually releases it.
If you don't have Apple Music, a free trial for the service is available for three months, after which users must pay $9.99 per month. (For families of up to six people it costs $14.99 per month, and for students it’s $4.99 per month.)
