Must See: Movies Coming to a Theater Near You
I don't know about you, but I love a good movie! I still enjoy going to the movies and even just laying in bed watching them. So you can just imagine my excitement when I learned about all of the films that are about to hit theaters!
There are so many good films coming out this summer/fall season that I couldn't possibly fit them all into one story! So, I managed to narrow them down to my top three.
The Perfect Guy - This suspenseful thriller tells the story of successful lobbyist Leah (Sanaa Lathan) who is in a long term relationship with Dave (Morris Chestnut) until the two breakup after Leah realizes that Dave is not ready to move their relationship to the next step:marriage. Enter Carter Duncan, (Michael Ealy). Duncan at first seems like a nice guy, but progressively turns cray cray. I don't wanna spoil the fun! So I'll leave you guys with that. The Perfect Guy hits theaters on September 15. 2015

Straight Outta Compton- This film basically tells the backstory of the group N.W.A including how the group was formed, breaking down the individual lives all of its members, which included Dr.Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy-E, MC Ren, DJ Yella and Arabian Prince. The film also chronicles the group's rise to fame and all of the controversy surrounding it. It also touches on N.W.A's disbandment after the death of Eazy-E. What makes this film stand out from other N.W.A. depictions is that this one stars the son of an actual group member. Ice Cube's son, O'Shea Jackson plays his father in the iconic bio-pic. Straight Outta Compton hits theaters on August 14.2015

DOPE- Produced by Forest Whitaker, Pharrell Williams and Diddy, DOPE is a comedy-drama starring newcomer Shameik Moore. Moore plays Malcolm, a high schooler from Inglewood who is juggling college applications, drugs, sex and peer pressure. The film also stars supermodel Chanel Iman, A$AP Rocky, Zoe Kravitz and many more other dope celebs! DOPE hits theaters on June 19.2015
