Future Talks With Huff Post About His Sex Life With Ciara as Well as the Couple's Failed Engagement
As reported by HuffPost:
"When hip-hop star Future joined HuffPost Live on Monday to talk about his new album "DS2," the rapper had some interesting things to say about his ex Ciara's new relationship with Super Bowl champ Russell Wilson, who confessed last week that he and Ciara were waiting on having sex.
When host Marc Lamont Hill told Future about Ciara and Russell Wilson's decision to abstain, Future said that while God never told him to wait for sex, Ciara did say she wanted to pray when the deed was done.
'God told me something else. He ain't tell me to wait. I guarantee you that,' Future said. 'We prayed afterwards though. After we did it, we prayed. That's a true story.'
Amen."
When asked about his failed engagement to Ciara, The 31-year-old rapper also told HuffPost Live that the two called it quits in December 2014 after rumors surfaced that the "F*ck Up Some Comma" rapper cheated.
"Everybody already had their speculation on what happened. A lot of people said, 'Man, he cheated'…But our relationship had nothing to do with cheating. We grew apart," he explained. "When you're a man, you want to make decisions for your family, and sometimes the lady doesn't see what you see… I called [the engagement] off way before any cheating rumors came out. The engagement was already off."
Future was also asked if the decision to split was mutual, he replied,"I said it wasn't going to work," adding, "She wasn't too mad because I explained it to her."
"I was like ‘I'll marry you today. You want to get married, let's get married.' But I'm not getting married with all these different people in my wedding," he explained. "My family have to be there. I'm from the hood, hood people going to be there. It might be people that you don't like that's going to be there. But I know they love me, they got my best interest...I don't want nobody from the industry there, I don't want the media there. You know how girls have their fairy tale weddings, this how they pick it."
Russell Wilson and Ciara "Not Concerned" With Future's Recent Comments, Remain Focused on Each Other
It seems to me that Future got "cold feet" when the actual idea of marriage sunk in. He didn't want what usually comes with a high-profile marriage and ended up hurting two of the people who loved him most in the process. The two are parents of one-year old son, Future Zahir Wilburn.
