Bill Cosby Admits He Bought Drugs to Give to Women
According to newly released documents obtained by The Associated Press, Bill Cosby admitted to obtaining prescriptions for drugs to give to women that he wanted to have sex with.
The documents, which date back to 2005 are part of a civil lawsuit filed by a woman named Andrea Constand who is just one of the dozens of women who have publicly accused the comedian of sexual assault. The records were made public yesterday after The AP went to court demanding their release.
The concealed court documents detailed Cosby's deposition, including the moment when he was asked by the woman's attorney, "When you got the Quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these Quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?"
Wherein fact Mr.Cosby replied, "Yes."
Digging further, the incriminating documents also detail an encounter that occurred during the 70s in Las Vegas with a woman who remains anonymous : "She meets me back stage. I give her Quaaludes. We then have sex," he's quoted as saying.
This case involving Constand was ultimately settled out of court, where she received an undisclosed amount of money.
More than 25 women have publicly accused Cosby of raping or assaulting them over the past 40 years. The comedian has never been criminally charged and has vehemently denied wrongdoing. (CNN).
