Men's Fall Fashion: Outerwear
Lately I've been coming across a lot of really dope men's clothing, outerwear mainly, which inspired me to do this piece on some of my favorite fall time staples. Menswear rarely ever changes in my opinion, its just made up of a bunch of new takes on old classics.
Below I have listed a couple of my favorite trends along with their prices (Steals & Splurges) and retailers. I also took the pleasure of adding some fun outfit suggestions to help if you have trouble putting together new looks!
The Bomber
This jacket has been trending for a minute now and has been popular among both men and women. Its edgy and super versatile. You can add a bit of a stylish touch on it by wearing it with a pair of low-ankle boots, a signature look of Kanye West, or wear it with a pair of your favorite sneakers. But the ultimate go-to look in my opinion is the jacket paired with a pair of classic Timberland boots. Forever 21 also has some more affordable options (check out the"Steal" option)!
Shoe Suggestion:
The Leather/Biker
I love a leather biker jacket on a guy because it shows you that he just may have some style. A lot of guys I know usually only wear leather jackets when getting dressed for a night out or a special event. Not many will choose that same leather jacket to compliment one of their simple daytime outfits. If you pair it with the right pieces like any basic colored top and a nice pair of dark denim jeans you can make an understated fashion statement. A good leather jacket can also be thrown over a basic sweatsuit ( yes this is me encouraging more grey sweatsuits fellas).
Shoe Suggestion:
The Vest
Vests are simpler fashion choices that are perfect for those days where semi-warm temperatures are still present, but the breeze is strong enough to remind you that winter is just around the corner. They are perfect layering pieces that can make for a great fall-time causal look. They can be layered with chambray tops and pullover sweaters for a J-crew "esque" look. They can also be worn with a distressed jean jacket to add more of an edge to your look.
Shoe Suggestion:
The Puffer/Quilted
This piece usually works best with a simple pair of denim jeans and a basic crew-neck top, albeit a sweatshirt or a T-shirt, you really can do no wrong with this fall/winter staple. The outerwear in this case is one of the highlights of the look, right after the shoes of course. It looks rugged, stylish and sexy all at the same time.
