Beyoncé Covers Vogue September Issue
“The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality.”- Marc Jacobs
Beyoncé Knowles is truly a diva in her own right and her feature in Vogue's September issue reminds us why.
The photos shot by legendary fashion photographer Mario Testino, show Beyoncé in a number of fabulous looks including a body-hugging lavender lace dress embellished with floral appliqués. Bey rocks a tousled wet hairstyle much similar to a look she wore in her "Drunk in Love" music video. Another look is a floor-length black lace dress, with nude paneling.
The cover's tagline reads: "Just B , Beyonce and the Art of Global Domination." That line was enough to get me excited for some possible new projects that she may have in the works!
For this particular issue Beyonce is the third black woman in the history of the magazine to appear on the cover for the month, joining the ranks of supermodel Naomi Campbell and Oscar winner Halle Berry.
