Gabby Douglas x Teen Vogue

Miss Douglas is serving up some Black Girl Magic on the August cover of Teen Vogue Magazine!

On her way to win the Gold at this year's 2016 Summer Olympics, Gabby took the time out to shoot this amazing feature story with the teen mag where she also discussed her family, career and reaching her fullest potential. She also dished a bit about her reality show on Oxygen, Douglas Family Gold. The show which just aired its season finale, follows Douglas and her family on their way to Rio de Janeiro, this year's host for the Olympics.

By 16, Gabby accomplished at her first Olympic Games what no American gymnast had ever done before: She won both the coveted individual all-around title and led her team (dubbed the Fierce Five) to a gold medal — and also happens to be the first woman of color in the sport to do so.

“It was just insane knowing that I had spent my whole life dreaming about this one specific goal and achieved it,” Gabby recalls. Now at age 20, she is determined to make history again, as the first gymnast to successfully defend her all-around gold medal since 1968. How amazing is that?!( Teen Vougue.com)
