Artist, Shawn Smith formerly known as Young Savage, is back with new vibes in his latest music compilation, Sink or Swim: A Shawn Smith Story.
The album, which is told in a story-book style, gives us an inside look into Shawn's world. We are taken through the different stages of his career and treated to an insanely descriptive view of the Philly rapper's neighborhood, life, and progression as an artist. Personally, I found myself wrapped up in the album, starting with the first track, S.W.P where I literally could visualize everything he rapped about. Not to mention, Shawn's relaxed , yet powerful flow draws you in for more. I found myself nearing the end of the album before realizing that I hadn't skipped once. The only reason I did stop at track 10 (Care 4 Me) was because of my love for it. I simply had to run it back.
